2,94,115 new cases of corona were found in one day, 2020 people died
According to data received late last night from states and union territories, 2,94,115 new cases have been reported during the last 24 hours, 1,66,520 patients have been cured and 2,020 people have died, of which Maharashtra has the highest number of 519, Delhi. Includes 277 deaths, 191 in Chhattisgarh, 162 in Uttar Pradesh, 149 in Karnataka, 121 in Gujarat and 77 in Madhya Pradesh.
Number of cases of corona infection in the country crosses one crore 56 lakh nine thousand
The number of infection cases that have been exposed so far in the country has crossed one crore 56 lakh nine thousand. Out of these, over one crore 32 lakh 69 thousand patients have been completely cured and 1,82,570 people have lost their lives so far. The number of active cases has increased to 21,50,119. At the same time, according to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at eight o’clock in the morning, the total number of infected people was 1.53 lakh. The number of recovered people was 1.31 crore and the number of dead was 1,80,530.
There were more than 1.5 million tests on Monday.
15,19,486 samples were tested on Monday in the country. Together, a total of 26 crores 94 lakh 14 thousand samples have been tested so far.
Along with Maharashtra, explosive situation has arisen in Delhi, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh. More than 62 thousand new cases have been found in Maharashtra. A record number of 20 thousand new cases have been found in Kerala. In Delhi too, more than 28 thousand new infections have been found. For the first time in Goa, more than a thousand ([1,160)] newcomers have been found and 26 people have died. In view of the increasing cases, the Telangana government has announced a night curfew in the state. Rajasthan has also imposed strict restrictions like lockdown till May 3.
