He suffered a cardiac attack while exercising in the gym, after which he was admitted to AIIMS, Delhi on 10 August. Raju Srivastava, who has been fighting for life and death in the hospital for about 41 days, has now said goodbye to the world. As much as his death has come as a shock to his family, close friends and comedy buffs, it is equally bad news for the entire film industry.
Raju Srivastava was counted among the best comedians of India. In the famous comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, Raju Srivastava won everyone’s heart with his comedy skills. But Raju did not stop here. He also won the hearts of everyone with his acting talent by working in many Bollywood films.
Raju Srivastava worked with almost every big actor from Salman Khan to Hrithik Roshan. Raju Srivastava has acted in 17 films till now after entering the entertainment world in the 80s. In 1988, she made her Bollywood debut with Anil Kapoor’s Tezaab. Even though his role in this film was small, but the strong performance caught the attention of the filmmakers.
