Bengaluru: The State High Court’s order has challenged the Supreme Court in the Supreme Court to supply 1,200 MT of oxygen to Karnataka instead of the current 965 MT of oxygen. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Center, referring to the case before the bench of Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice MR Shah, demanded immediate stay of the High Court order issued on Wednesday.
He said that the Center would sort out the matter with the state. However, the bench said that they do not have the documents related to the case and it is not possible for them to pass the order without looking at the petition. The bench said that they would look at the case file and then order the registry to list the case. The bench also said that the matter should be mentioned before the Chief Justice.
