Bhopal: The number of people getting infected daily from Corona in the country remained less than four lakh for the second consecutive day. On Tuesday, 3 lakh 48 thousand 417 new cases have been reported across the country, while 4198 people have lost their lives. Even after Monday, the number of patients recovering today was higher than the new infected. In the last 24 hours 3 lakh 55 thousand 282 people have been cured.
Yesterday also the number of new patients was less –
On Monday, 3 lakh 29 thousand 379 new infections were identified, but 3.55 lakh infected were cured. This happened 62 days later when more patients outnumbered the epidemic than new patients. Earlier on March 9, 17,873 corona-positive patients were identified and 20,643 people were cured.
It is also a matter of relief that the number of new infections found on Monday is the lowest in the last 15 days. Earlier, on April 26, 3.19 lakh cases were reported. In the last 24 hours, 3,877 people lost their lives due to the epidemic. With this, there was a decrease of 30,412 in the active case. Earlier on March 9, there was a decrease of 2909 in the active case.

Restrictions like lockdown in 18 states-
There are complete lockdown-like restrictions in 18 states of the country. These include Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa, Telangana and Puducherry. There are stringent restrictions like the previous lockdown.
Partial lockdown in 14 states / union territories
There is partial lockdown in 14 states and union territories of the country. That is, there are restrictions here, but there are also exemptions. These include Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat.
Vaccination of 17.51 crore people so far-
According to the Health Ministry, 23.8 lakh vaccine doses have been given on Tuesday. Thus, 17.51 crore people have been given the first and second doses of the vaccine across the country so far. In this, 95 lakh 81 thousand 872 health care workers have been given the first dose, 65 lakh 38 thousand 656 have been given the second dose.
Talking about the front line workers, the first dose has been given to 1 crore 41 lakh 45 thousand 83 people and the second dose has been given to 79 lakh 50 thousand 430 people. 5 crore 58 lakh 70 thousand 91 people above 45 years have been given the first dose, while 78 lakh 17 thousand 926 people have taken the second dose. Among the people above 60 years, 5 crore 39 lakh 54 thousand 858 people have received the first dose, while 1 crore 62 lakh 73 thousand 279 people have received the second dose.
Talking about 18+, today a record 4 lakh 7 thousand youths have taken the first dose of vaccine. That is, 30.3 lakh people have been vaccinated so far in the age group of 18 to 44 years. In total, 13 crore 65 lakh 91 thousand 191 people have been given the first dose of vaccine so far. At the same time, 3 crore 85 lakh 80 thousand 291 people have received the second dose.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has canceled his visit to Britain because of the bad situation created in the country by Coron. He was to attend the G-7 summit there. A spokesman for the Ministry of External Affairs said on Tuesday that PM Modi had been specially invited by the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson for the summit. In view of the situation in Corona, it has been decided that the Prime Minister will not attend this conference.
Apart from India, Australia and South Korea were invited to attend the summit as a guest country. The G7 includes the United States, France, Canada, Britain, Germany, Japan and Italy. All member countries in turn host the annual summit. This year is to be held in Cornwall, UK between 11 and 13 June.
On Tuesday, 39,510 cases of corona were found in Karnataka. With this, Karnataka became the second state in the country with more than 20 lakh cases. The first number is Maharashtra, where so far about 52 lakh people have been infected. Now Karnataka has the highest number of 5.87 lakh active cases in the country. In this case too, this state has left Maharashtra behind. There are 5.59 lakh active cases here.
Corona Updates –
According to Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, states can keep 70% of the vaccines given by the Center for the second dose and 30% for the first dose. He said that those who have taken the first dose should be given priority for the second dose.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 30 crore 56 lakh 187 sample tests have been done for the corona virus in India till Monday. Out of which 18 lakh 50 thousand 110 samples were tested on the previous day.
Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangaswamy became corona positive. He is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai. Governor Tamilisai Sundararajan wished him well, as well as his speedy recovery.
Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that the fastest vaccination is happening in India. 17 million Kovid vaccine doses were put in India in 114 days, while the US completed it in 115 days and China took 119 days.
