New Delhi: Some relief has been reported amidst the chaos of the second wave of Corona epidemic. No new cases of corona infection have been found in 180 districts of the country for the last seven days and in the last 14 days in 18 districts. If we talk about the whole country, more than four lakh new cases were reported on Saturday for the fourth consecutive day and more than four thousand people died on the second consecutive day.

There is no new case of corona infection for 21 days in 54 districts of the country

Giving the above information, the Union Health Ministry said that there are 54 districts in the country where no new cases of corona infection have been found for the last 21 days i.e. three weeks.

4,03,626 new corona cases and 4,091 deaths found in the country in one day

According to late night reports from states and union territories, 4,03,626 new cases have been received during the last 24 hours, 3,86,207 patients have been cured and 4,091 more have died. In this way, the difference between those recovering and new patients is narrowing. More than one lakh new patients were being received from those who had been cured earlier every day. The total number of infected has crossed two crore 22 lakh 95 thousand. Out of these, over one crore 83 lakh 11 thousand patients have been completely cured and 2,42,398 people have lost their lives. There are 37,32,467 active cases. According to the latest data updated by the ministry at eight in the morning, the total number of infected people was around 2.19 crore, the number of cured patients was 1.78 crore and the number of dead was 2,38,270. The active cases were 37,23,446.

Cases not decreasing in Kerala-Karnataka

Cases in Kerala and Karnataka are not decreasing. During the last 24 hours, more than 41 thousand cases have been found in Kerala and 47 thousand in Karnataka. There have been some cases in Maharashtra, the decrease is not more than in the strictures. Still more than 50 thousand cases are being received daily. Most deaths are also happening there. Maharashtra also recorded the highest number of deaths at 864 on Saturday. Apart from this, 482 patients have died in Karnataka, 332 in Delhi, 297 in Uttar Pradesh, 241 in Tamil Nadu, 223 in Chhattisgarh, 171 in Punjab, 160 in Rajasthan and 155 in Haryana.

More than 30 crores corona test so far

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), more than 30 crore tests so far, 18,08,344 samples were tested across the country on Friday to detect corona infection. In total, more than 300 million samples have been tested so far.
