New Delhi: The second wave of Corona in the country has started slowing down. Corona has been confirmed in 2 lakh 40 thousand 766 people in the country on Saturday. After 35 days, the number of newly infected people in the country has been below 2.5 lakhs. Earlier on 16 April, 2 lakh 34 thousand 2 people were found to be corona infected.
However, the number of people who lost their lives due to the epidemic is still a cause for concern. In the last 24 hours, 3,736 people have died due to corona in the country. However, it is a matter of relief that 3 lakh 54 thousand 825 people have also recovered during this period.
In this way, the number of active cases i.e. patients being treated in the country saw a drop of one lakh 17 thousand 877. At present, 28 lakh 403 corona infections are being treated in the country.

Uttar Pradesh
On Saturday, 5,964 people were found infected. 17,540 people recovered and 218 people died. So far, 16.65 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 15.51 lakh have been cured, while 18,978 patients succumbed. 94,482 patients are being treated here.
Delhi
In Delhi, 2,260 people were found corona positive on Saturday. 6,453 people recovered and 182 died. So far, 14.15 lakh people have been infected. Out of these, 13.60 lakh people have been cured, while 23,013 patients have died. 31,308 are under treatment here.
Chhattisgarh
On Saturday, 4,328 people were found corona infected. 9,631 people recovered and 103 died. So far, 9.45 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 8.61 lakh people have been cured, while 12,495 patients have died.
Madhya Pradesh
On Saturday, 3,844 people were found corona positive in the state. 9,327 people recovered and 89 died. So far, 7.60 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 6.91 lakh people have been cured, while 7,483 people have died. There are 62,053 patients who are undergoing treatment.
