According to Skymet Weather, heavy to moderate rains may occur over the next 24 hours with light to moderate rains over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Kerala. Light to moderate rains may occur over Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka and parts of Lakshadweep and Odisha. Moderate rains may occur over one or two places with light rains over parts of Western Himalaya, Bihar, East Madhya Pradesh, parts of Telangana, Interior Karnataka and Madhya Maharashtra. In Punjab and Rajasthan, dust storm and thunderstorm may occur at one or two places.

Madhya Pradesh is also expected to get rain in the next few days. According to IMD, clouds may rain in the capital Bhopal and adjoining areas till May 10. However, there is no possibility of any significant change in temperature. Indore and adjoining districts are expected to receive rain on May 9 and 10. After this, the sky will be clear.
