Bengaluru: 90 people have been arrested in Karnataka on charges of selling Remadecivir injections used in the treatment of Corona in Kalabazar. State Director General of Police Praveen Sood gave this information on Wednesday. Sood said in a tweet that a case has also been registered against 38 people for packaging fake Remedisvir. However, he did not say during which period the said actions were taken.
The Director General said that the said arrests are part of a campaign to apprehend those who are trying to earn money illegally in these difficult times. Explain that due to the increasing cases of Corona, the demand for Remedisvir in Karnataka has suddenly increased a lot.
Allotment of 16.5 Lakh Viles of Remedisvir to the States
The Center on Wednesday informed that between May 3 and May 9, states have been allocated 16.5 vials of Remedisvir. According to a statement, Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers DV Sadananda Gowda chaired a meeting and reviewed the availability of essential medicines and other essential medicines in the treatment of corona.
