Mumbai: (TNA News Network) Beautiful small screen actress Avika Gor, who won millions of hearts with her stellar performance in Balika Vadhu, is all set to enter Bollywood. She is making her debut in the world of Hindi cinema through the upcoming social comedy film “Kahaani Rubberband Ki”. The film is written and directed by debutant filmmaker Sarika Sanjot.

Let us inform that Avika Gor has previously worked in Telugu and Kannada films, Kahaani is her debut Hindi film of Rubberband. The film also stars her “Sasural Simar Ka” co-star Manish Raisinghan and is also her first film. This includes Scam 1992 superstar Prateek Gandhi and comedy star Gaurav Gera as well as stalwarts like Aruna Irani and Pental.
This epic comedy film revolves around a shopkeeper who sells condoms in the name of rubberbands. Through a gripping masala entertainer, this social drama promises to educate the audience as well. Debut director Sarika Sanjot says, “I am very excited to bring this story to the audience. The film addresses such an important topic in a way that makes the whole idea of ”condoms” acceptable in Indian society.”


She adds, “Unfortunately as a society, what we need the most, we consider it a taboo. The motive behind making this film is to make condoms a household name. "Kahaani Rubberband Key" is produced under the banner of Moon House Productions. Meet Brothers has composed the music for the film, while Farooq Mistry is the cinematographer. The beautiful voices of well-known singers Kunal Ganjawala, Hargun Kaur and Geet Sagar can be heard in the songs of the film. The film will release on October 14 at PVR Cinemas across India.
