Delhi- Former opener Gautam Gambhir feels that Indian captain Virat Kohli made a strategic lapse by giving his main fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah only two overs in the opening spell in the second ODI which no other captain in the world will do.

India suffered a 51-run defeat in the second ODI in Sydney, leading Australia to an unassailable 2–0 lead in the three-match series. Gambhir feels that the difference between the two teams so far was that Australian captain Aaron Finch in his first two ODIs

Successful fast bowler Josh Hazlewood used well. Gambhir said in ESPNcricinfo’s Match Day Hindi, “I am finding it difficult to understand that if you have a capable bowler like Jasprit Bumrah, you gave him only two overs in the beginning.
