Shivraj Singh Chauhan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, his residence in New Delhi today. The Chief Minister informed PM Modi about the current situation of Corona in Madhya Pradesh and preparations to deal with it.
Suggested that compulsory license arrangements should be in place for companies making vaccines. They have suggested that if the vaccine-patented company is unable to produce enough vaccines, it may be able to produce the formula by giving it to another company, which does not affect productivity.
He told the Prime Minister that where the infection is more geographically, vaccination should be done on priority basis.
CM also informed the Prime Minister about the economic situation in Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister said that the financial condition of the state is not good. Revenue from state resources is less.
The share of share in central taxes has also not been met. To deal with the crisis, the Chief Minister also requested to allow the State Government to take an additional loan of 1% of GDP from the Central Government.
