Pollution in the national capital Delhi has not reduced yet. However, burning of stubble, which is considered to be the main reason of pollution in the state, has almost stopped.
On Friday, the air quality in Delhi was recorded in the ‘very poor’ category and there is no sign of improvement in it. The air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 364 at 9 am.
Meanwhile, the central government has sent a notice to the Delhi government. Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar said that even after the stoppage of stubble burning, the air quality in Delhi is still very poor.
The Union Minister said, ‘The Central Pollution Control Board has issued a notice to the Delhi Government. Also asked to take action on the causes of pollution like biomass burning and dust.
