Mumbai: A surprising news is coming from the Kannada film industry. Kannada actress Shanaya Katwe has been arrested by Hubli’s police. Shanaya is accused of killing her brother. Police have recovered the body of Shanaya’s brother Rakesh Katve from different roads. According to the news of the Indian Express, the police have found that Rakesh has been brutally murdered. The police found the chopped head of Rakesh Katwe from Devaragudihal forest, while the remaining pieces of the body have been recovered from different places in Hubli and Gadag Road.
During the investigation of the case, the police have arrested four accused, namely, Niaz Ahmad Katigar, Tausif Channapur, Altaf Mulla and Aman Giraniwale. According to the news, the police discovered that Rakesh’s sister i.e. Kannada actress Shanaya Katve was also involved in this murder. The reason behind Shanaya’s doing this is being told her love affair. According to the news, Shanaya and Niyaz are in love with each other, but their brother was against this relationship after which Niyaz conspired to kill Rakesh. The incident took place on 9 April, the day Shanaya went to Hubli for the promotion of her film. Together, Katigar and his friend brutally murdered Rakesh and dumped the body in pieces and threw it at different places in the city.
As soon as the matter was known, the Hubli police investigated it and arrested Shanaya. Currently, the actress has been sent to judicial custody. Let us tell you that Shanaya’s journey in Kannada industry is not very long. The actress has made her debut in the industry with the film Premam Jeevanam in the year 2018 itself.
